More than 3,250 people visited the Urgell region this March to witness the almond blossom, a natural spectacle that has become a key fixture in the local nature tourism calendar.

Events kicked off in Vilagrassa and continued in Preixana, where the Tastasons festival drew 900 attendees. In Tàrrega, the Mas de Colom - Casa Borges estate welcomed 2,150 visitors, mostly from the Barcelona area, seeking sustainable outdoor experiences.
The Urgell County Council is now preparing for April, focusing on the flowering of apple and pear trees in Tornabous. The upcoming campaign will include photography contests and fruit-inspired local gastronomy.
