The village of Verdú hosted a mid-year orientation meeting last Saturday for 18 international students currently studying in Catalonia through the AFS Intercultura exchange program.

Participants from Italy, Germany, Norway, Poland, and other nations gathered to discuss their experiences living with local families. The program aims to promote tolerance and empathy through global educational mobility.

It is a unique, incredible, and enriching experience that helps you open your mind and break prejudices.

The event also honored Jana Teixidó and Àlex Mora, students from Tàrrega, who will soon depart for their own exchange programs in France and Turkey during the next academic term.
