The Department of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Food reminds that on October 15, the authorization period for activities with forest fire risk ends. From October 16 to March 14, the deadline opens for submitting responsible declarations for activities carried out in forest land and its 400-meter influence area.
For agricultural burns, submission preferably through the 9PERFOC application, which already includes pre-loaded DUN plots, or via EACAT is recommended.
As a novelty, the burning of woody debris for fire prevention is incorporated, intended for non-professionals for crop pruning. This activity will be subject to authorization throughout the year.
Public administrations experiencing technical incidents in EACAT may temporarily submit their declarations through 9PERFOC.
More information and access to the application can be found on the 9PERFOC website. For any questions, contact the fire danger mailbox at perillincendis.agricultura@gencat.cat.
