The city of Tàrrega will celebrate the traditional Els Tres Tombs festival next Sunday, January 25, organized by the Societat de Sant Antoni Abat and AgEnTa, featuring a large float parade and the blessing of animals.

The day will start at 10:45 a.m. on Migdia street with the blessing of floats, tractors, mounts, and pets. Subsequently, starting at 11:00 a.m., the procession will begin its parade through Plaça del Carme.
The procession will feature popular culture figures such as lo Tossino, la Verreta, the Cavallets, the giants of the Fal·lera Gegantera, el Groguet, the Diables Infantils de BAT, and the Grallers de la Barra. The young farmer from Altet, Oleguer Castelló, dedicated to the almond sector, will be the standard-bearer leading the entourage.

The festival keeps alive the tradition of honoring farmers and the primary sector with a popular and highly participatory day.

For the second consecutive year, a popular stew (escudella) will be offered starting at 12:30 p.m. in Plaça de les Nacions Sense Estat. Around 150 servings of this Sant Antoni stew, prepared by the entity Lo Ranxo de Ponts, are expected to be served.
Lunch will be accompanied by a vermouth-concert featuring the performance of Carlitos Miñarro. Furthermore, the same square will host a traditional market of artisanal and local food products, along with wooden games, donkey rides, a popular farmer's breakfast, and hot chocolate. The vigil, on Saturday, January 24, will include a proclamation at 7:00 p.m. featuring lo Tossino, la Verreta, and the Grallers del Tararot.
