The Mossos d'Esquadra arrested a 33-year-old man in Tàrrega on Thursday, who has numerous antecedents, as the alleged perpetrator of five forced robberies inside vehicles.

The arrest took place on Comtes de Barcelona street in the capital of Urgell, concluding an investigation that started last Tuesday following multiple complaints.
The robberies were concentrated on Mossèn Sarret street, where the individual broke the windows of five vehicles parked on the public road to steal valuables.

The arrested individual has numerous antecedents for crimes against property, highlighting the recurrence in this type of offense.

The detainee was scheduled to appear before a judge on Friday to answer for the five counts of aggravated robbery he is charged with.
This arrest comes shortly after the Mossos d'Esquadra detained the perpetrator of a supermarket assault in Agramunt on Wednesday, who was released despite the Prosecutor's Office requesting preventive detention.
