The citizens of Tàrrega filled the streets on Kings' Night to welcome Their Majesties from the East, who called for peace and generosity in their speeches.

The traditional parade, organized by the Comissió Cavalcada de Reis de BAT with the support of the Department of Culture, featured a procession of ten floats and the participation of over 250 people, including 150 pages. Despite the low temperatures, the turnout was massive along the route that began in the northern sector of the city.
One of the main novelties this year was the debut of the Gínjols float, designed by local set designer Llorenç Corbella. These new characters are responsible for collecting letters and planning the gift delivery routes in the city. The renewed Foment Tàrrega float was also featured.
The parade was notably inclusive with the introduction of a silent space, located between Amics del País street and Rafael Casanova square. This section was enabled without music or bright lights for people with sensory sensitivities. Additionally, a reserved area for reduced mobility was set up in front of the main stage at Plaça Major.

"I want to highlight the solidarity of all Tàrrega residents and I wish that the Three Kings bring gifts to every home."

Alba Pijuan · Mayor of Tàrrega
The official reception took place at Plaça Major, where Mayor Alba Pijuan handed over the city key to the Three Kings, forged with the keys provided by the children. The Kings, Melcior, Gaspar, and Baltasar, thanked the citizens for the welcome and sent messages advocating for peace, coexistence, and generosity.
The Christmas events in Tàrrega will culminate on Sunday, January 11, with the traditional Three Kings Concert. This gala, held in memory of Tàrrega musician Àngel Sans, will take place at the Teatre Ateneu and will feature performances by the Polifònica de l’Urgell, the chamber choir ARSinNova de Barcelona, and the Orquestra Gratia Aris.
