Tàrrega celebrates Saint Patrick's Day with Irish whiskey and history

The cultural association La Soll in Tàrrega is set to celebrate Saint Patrick's Day this weekend with a program featuring Irish literature, history, and traditional spirits.

On Friday, March 20th, the Critical Thinking Section will present the book La causa obrera és la causa d'Irlanda, featuring articles by the prominent Irish socialist leader James Connolly. The event will be held at the local headquarters in Plaça de les Nacions Sense Estat.
The presentation will be followed by a free Irish whiskey tasting led by sommelier Carles Bargalló. To conclude the festivities, the Celtic band Sláinte will perform live on Saturday, March 21st, bringing traditional Irish sounds to the streets of Tàrrega.
