The local board of the Association Against Cancer in Tàrrega organized a special therapeutic exercise session to commemorate World Cancer Day, promoting physical recovery.

On the occasion of World Cancer Day, the local board of the Association Against Cancer in Tàrrega, together with the Primary Care Team (EAP) and the council, offered a free physical exercise class aimed at the recovery of oncological patients, opening it up to all citizens.

To promote physical activity as an essential part of the oncological process and the improvement of quality of life.

The class, led by oncological physiotherapist Eli Sáez, is usually held every Wednesday from 10:45 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. at the municipal pavilion in Tàrrega, gathering about twenty regular participants.
Those interested in joining the group can contact the Primary Care Center (CAP) or the Association Against Cancer for a prior assessment visit. As a gesture of solidarity, Tàrrega also illuminated the water of the Font del Pati green.
