The city of Tàrrega has experienced a remarkable transformation in recent years, with the inauguration of new facilities and the implementation of improvements in key areas such as health, culture, sustainability, and infrastructure.

Among the most notable achievements is the new day care center for people with Alzheimer's, a facility offering comprehensive and specialized care for neurodegenerative diseases. This project resulted from the collaboration between the Association of Relatives of Alzheimer's Patients of Tàrrega and Comarca and the City Council. Additionally, the local CAP (Primary Care Center) has been expanded and renovated, reinforcing the city's commitment to citizen care.
In the cultural sphere, Major Street will soon host a museum dedicated to the writer Manuel de Pedrolo, a space that seeks to reclaim the figure of the most prolific author in Catalan literature and enhance Tàrrega's cultural significance. Regarding local commerce, voucher campaigns have been positively received by merchants, and the recent success of the new Christmas market is highlighted.
Sustainability has also been a fundamental pillar, with a significant increase in selective waste collection thanks to the implementation of the door-to-door system. In education, works at La Pau and the acquisition of El Triangle have allowed for the creation of a hundred new nursery places, addressing the needs of families.
Infrastructure improvements include the new bus station on Sant Pelegrí Street, which optimizes connection with the train, soon to be transferred to Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat. Furthermore, the development of the new Boscarró Nord industrial park is being promoted, with 40 hectares designated for new businesses, and the construction of a foot and bicycle bridge to connect it with the city has been advocated in the Senate.
These projects, along with the planned construction of 25 affordable rental apartments, form part of the legacy of the previous government team, led by Mayor Alba Pijuan, whose work has left a significant mark on the city's heritage.
