The Tàrrega City Council, through the Department of Social Action, has launched the 12th season of ‘L’Hort de Tàrrega’, a project offering plots for ecological cultivation and self-consumption. Interested parties have until Thursday, February 12, to submit applications electronically or in person at the Social Action Office.

"It is much more than a meeting space for people interested in horticulture; it is also a tool for social interaction."

The allocation process includes a draw on Friday, February 13, and the new season will run from March 3 to October 31. The site, located at the corner of Canal d’Urgell and Bellpuig streets, covers a total area of 2,625 m².
Within this space, approximately 1,500 m² are designated for cultivation, divided into plots of 50 and 25 square meters. Furthermore, the council offers technical advice specialized in ecological farming and promotes sustainability by using irrigation water sourced from an existing well on the site, employing a drip irrigation system.
