The old glories of the Tàrrega Carnival have organized the return of the traditional Fat Thursday (Dijous Gras) dinner on February 12 at the Espai MerCAT, as part of the Tietes Party program.

The initiative stems from the reunion of former commission members, including ex-kings and queens Carnestoltes and prominent figures from previous editions of the festival, organized by Agrat. This gathering aims to connect the historical essence of the Tàrrega Carnival across all generations.
The popular dinner will take place starting at 9 PM at the Espai MerCAT. The fixed price is 8 euros, an economical rate that includes a traditional menu of bread with tomato and cured meats, egg sausage omelet, crackling cake (coca de llardons), wine, and soda.

All attendees are encouraged to come dressed up as an 'aunt' (tieta) to enjoy an evening that will connect the essence of the Tàrrega Carnival across all generations.

To ensure the party atmosphere, starting at 10 PM, the Orquestra La Coctelera will be responsible for setting the rhythm for the night with a dance that will last until dawn.
Tickets for the dinner are already available for in-person sale at the Museum store and the Kirikú bar. They can also be purchased online, with the purchase deadline set for Tuesday, February 10.
