Tomorrow, Wednesday, October 21st, the Badia del Vallès City Council will hold information meetings for residents of Algarve street and Av. Via de la Plata regarding the removal of asbestos cement pipes.

Mayor Josep Martínez Valencia, along with municipal technicians and representatives from ACM 2020, will detail the procedure and safety measures for replacing these pipes.
The meetings will take place at 6:30 PM at Algarve, 6 (for numbers 2, 4, 6, and 8 on Algarve street), and at 7:00 PM and 7:30 PM at Av. Via de la Plata, 5-7 (for numbers 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, and 13 on the avenue).
The exact removal date is still pending confirmation and will be communicated in advance. The work, expected to last one day (with a maximum of three in case of incidents), will be carried out by a specialized company.
Owners are reminded of the need to disconnect boilers and other equipment connected to the pipes beforehand, as well as to keep nearby windows closed and remove facade elements to ensure safety.
Inquiries and incidents can be reported via WhatsApp at 930 485 573 or through the online form.
