Despite the decrease registered during 2024, the study emphasizes that rental prices in Castellbisbal have experienced exponential growth over the last decade. Since 2014, the average monthly payment has increased by 35.5%. Furthermore, the municipality recorded a significant increase in the number of contracts signed, with 121 operations, 18.6% more than the previous year, a dynamic that is unusual in Vallès Occidental.

The data for Castellbisbal contrasts with the regional average, as its average price (772.07 euros) is lower than both Vallès Occidental (853.10 euros) and Catalonia (844.13 euros). The municipalities with the most expensive rents in the region remain Sant Cugat del Vallès (1,430 euros), Matadepera (1,181 euros), and Viladecavalls (985 euros).

At the regional level, the average rental price in Vallès Occidental rose by 5.3% in 2024, reaching 853.10 euros monthly. Simultaneously, the number of formalized contracts fell by 15.7%, totaling 11,891. This dynamic of falling operations and increasing prices was more intense in the region than in Catalonia as a whole.
