The El Cafè amb Lletres literary cycle returns to the Central Library in Cerdanyola del Vallès with five renowned authors, starting on Thursday, January 22, with the presentation of Marta Millà's novel.

Barcelona actress Marta Millà will open the 2026 edition by presenting her novel El blau impossible (La Campana, 2025). This work, based on real experiences, explores themes such as the fragility and intensity of a love that arrives late. The meeting will take place in the Sala Enric Granados at 7 PM and will be moderated by journalist and cultural manager Begoña del Pueyo.
The program will continue on February 19 with Lluís Llort, who will present Demolició (Clandestina, 2024), a work that won the L’H Confidencial Black Novel Prize 2024. Other featured sessions include Dolors Miquel on March 19 with El pit adormit (Edicions 62, 2026), and Blanca Llum Vidal on April 16 with the poetry collection Tan bonica i tirana, recognized with the Carles Riba Prize 2024.

El Cafè amb Lletres is a stable literary outreach program that has been running in Cerdanyola del Vallès for over 18 years.

The cycle will conclude on May 16 with the participation of Jaume Clotet, who will present his work La calavera de l’apòstol (Editorial Columna, 2025). The conversations with the authors will be led by professionals such as Pilar Argudo, Gemma Ventura, Esteve Plantada, and Clara Ardèvol, ensuring a rich and diverse debate.
This initiative, organized by the Cerdanyola del Vallès City Council with the collaboration of several local bookstores and the support of the Department of Culture of the Generalitat de Catalunya, is part of the city's Reading Master Plan. All sessions offer free access until capacity is reached.
