The event, held at the Masia Can Serraparera, will focus on how new technologies are transforming the industrial sector. Under the title “Applications of Virtual Reality in Industry,” attendees will learn about the current applications of this technology in production environments and the new job opportunities arising from this evolution.
The integration of immersive technologies opens possibilities in areas such as team training, product design and visualization, process simulation, and maintenance. This transformation also drives the emergence and evolution of professional profiles linked to industrial digitalization.
The event aims to be a space for reflection on the opportunities presented by technological transformation, to introduce new career paths, and to foster synergies between companies and individuals seeking or improving their professional careers. The cycle, promoted by the Consell Comarcal del Vallès Occidental since 2013, facilitates contact between citizens and the region's business community.
Previous editions have addressed various sectors and have been held in different municipalities within Vallès Occidental, combining insights into labor market trends with networking opportunities. Last year, the event focused on employment challenges in the construction sector and sustainability.
This initiative, funded by the Diputació de Barcelona as part of the Upskilling for employment program in Vallès Occidental, continues to work towards promoting industrial vocations and improving employability.
