The 21st edition of Sports Solidarity Stories will allocate the funds raised to the Private AVAN Foundation, an entity dedicated to improving the quality of life for people with neurological diseases, with the participation of sports journalists.

The book, which has become a classic of Sant Jordi celebrations, has been written by some forty sports journalists. This year, the cover will feature the image of a FC Barcelona footballer, helping to raise awareness for the cause.

"It will represent a before and after in neurorehabilitation and in improving the autonomy of the people we assist."

the foundation's management
The foundation's general management has highlighted the importance of this initiative to continue the work they have been doing for over three decades. The money raised from sales will be used to purchase a rehabilitation exoskeleton, a technology that promises to significantly improve the mobility and functional recovery of users.
This new installment of the solidarity book compiles untold stories from the world of sports, narrated by journalism professionals. Since its inception, the project has raised nearly 1.2 million euros for various social entities. During the Sant Jordi celebration, the book will be available at AVAN Foundation stalls in Sabadell and Terrassa, as well as at El Corte Inglés centers in Barcelona, Sabadell, and Palma, their online store, and La Fatal bookstore in Lleida.
The Private AVAN Foundation is a non-profit organization with over 30 years of experience in caring for people with neurological diseases and their families. It has branches in Sabadell, Terrassa, Sant Cugat, and Rubí, offering specialized services in comprehensive neurorehabilitation, psychological support, and community leisure programs to promote autonomy, emotional well-being, and social inclusion for its users.
