Neus Sanz, who will be the opening speaker for the summer festival in Santa Perpètua de Mogoda, has spent the day familiarizing herself with local organizations and sites to craft a personalized and emotive speech. Sanz has met with members of the Governing Team, the Festival and Deskoncerts committees, as well as various local entities.
Sanz's connection to Santa Perpètua was strengthened by the filming of a solidarity short film against school bullying, set to premiere in November. With over thirty years of professional experience in theater, film, and television, the actress aims to create an original perspective for her speech, made 'with the citizens and for the people of Perpètua'.
Prior to the opening speech, the festival will commence with a family-friendly event at 8 PM in the Joan Miró roundabout. The Sidral Brass Band will present their 'Red Wine Cabaret' show, blending live music, theater, circus, and humor, concluding in the Plaça de la Vila.
