Abat Marcet avenue will undergo asphalting works on its northern lanes, between Jocs Olímpics street and Rellinars road, from August 24th to 26th. During this period, the ‘Ctra. de Rellinars’ bus stop for lines L8 and LH will be cancelled. Passengers are advised to use the Emperadriu Eugènia (L8) and Àrea Olímpica (LH) stops heading towards Poble Nou. Private vehicle traffic will be maintained on one lane per direction.
Subsequently, from September 7th to 11th, asphalting will continue in the westbound direction. Works will affect sections between Rellinars road and Ponent avenue (northern lanes), and between Josep Tarradellas avenue and Pla de l’Ametllera street (southern lanes). On September 7th and 8th, the ‘Ctra. de Rellinars’ stop (northern lanes) for lines L8 and LH will also be cancelled, with alternatives at Emperadriu Eugènia and Àrea Olímpica.
The Plaça de l’Aigua will also see mobility changes due to the asphalting of the cycle lane, from August 24th to 28th. This will cause disruptions on Matadepera road (Northbound), Jaume I avenue, and Abat Marcet avenue.
Except for Thursday, August 27th, and Friday, August 28th, one lane per direction will remain open. On Thursday the 27th, there will be temporary access closures: Matadepera road (southbound) and Francesc Macià avenue will be completely closed. Vehicles on Francesc Macià avenue heading towards Vallès avenue will be diverted via Manresa street, with the northern lane remaining open towards Matadepera road.
This closure on August 27th will affect bus line L6 towards Vallès avenue and La Cogullada, cancelling the ‘Voluntaris’, ‘Francesc Macià’, ‘Plaça Primer de Maig’, and ‘Provença’ stops. The bus will be diverted via Roig i Ventura street and Provença street, where provisional stops will be set up.
On Friday, August 28th, Manresa street will be completely closed to traffic. Access to the area will be possible from the ramp of Jaume I avenue.
