The main feature in this edition of TOT Cerdanyola al dia focuses on the future of Bellaterra and its possible segregation from Cerdanyola del Vallès to be annexed to Sant Cugat del Vallès. This territorial issue, which will have a direct impact on the future of Cerdanyola, will ultimately be arbitrated by the Generalitat. The magazine also includes a chronology of the historical tensions between the two municipalities.
Another prominent topic is the progress of the Innofab project. The Government of the Generalitat has awarded the drafting of the basic engineering project for this future chip development and prototyping center. Innofab will be located at Parc de l'Alba, and will be developed in collaboration with the Sincrotró Alba.
Regarding social and economic news, the edition details the increase in homelessness, which is now considered structural in Cerdanyola. During the extreme temperature episode, nine homeless people had to be accommodated in emergency shelters and hotels in Cerdanyola and Ripollet.
In the employment sector, Cerdanyola closed 2025 with 2,120 unemployed people, according to data from the Observatori del Vallès Occidental. Although this represents a moderate increase compared to November (+0.3%), the overall figure reflects a year-on-year reduction in unemployment. Finally, the magazine offers the best images of the Sant Antoni Abat festivity during the Passada dels Tres Tombs in Cerdanyola.
