The Ca n'Anglada neighborhood in Terrassa will host a community Iftar this Thursday, February 26, open to all residents to celebrate the breaking of the fast during the month of Ramadan.

The initiative, promoted by the District 2 Youth Technical Table, aims to become a point of intercultural meeting. The main event will take place at the Montserrat Roig Civic Center starting at 6:00 PM. In preparation, a craft workshop will be held on Wednesday, February 25, to decorate the venue.

"We want it to be a space open to everyone: young, old, Muslims and non-Muslims to learn about our neighbors' traditions."

Carmina Carot · A-Porta project coordinator
The organization promotes a zero-waste philosophy, asking attendees to bring their own food to share, as well as their own bowls and cutlery. Meanwhile, the Muslim Community of Terrassa has launched a food and donation drive to support vulnerable families in the city.
