The Ca n'Oliver Museum and Iberian Settlement inaugurated last Saturday, February 21, the exhibition Women and Justice, a showcase documenting female legal discrimination in Vallès Occidental.

The initiative, promoted by the Vallès Occidental County Archive, arrives in the city through the Department of Museums, Democratic Memory, and Archives. Through 18 panels, visitors can discover how the judicial system perpetuated inequalities during the 19th and 20th centuries, including Franco's dictatorship.

"An archive serves to repair facts economically and morally and also to ensure that these facts are not repeated."

Enric Cobo · Deputy Director General of Archives and Documentary Management
