The Carnivals group has won the 2026 Terrassa Carnival with their anti-bullfighting performance, leading a massive parade of over 2,100 participants through the city streets this Saturday.

With 250 members, Carnivals secured first place with their show La última cornada… i no de placer. This victory grants them the honor of being the official group for next year's edition. Amics Mompalet and AmicsxSempre followed in second and third place during the celebrations at the Fairground.
The parade successfully reached Raval de Montserrat, where Mayor Jordi Ballart handed over the city keys to the Carnival King and Queen. The event marked a return to festivities after strong winds had forced the cancellation of earlier activities on Maundy Thursday.

"Today no king speaks, nor any queen, nor any stale crown; today the Casal de la Dona speaks: trench, refuge, and factory of daily revolts."

Mercè Gómez · President of Casal de la Dona
The Casal de la Dona organization, celebrating its 40th anniversary, delivered a provocative opening speech. From the City Hall balcony, they called for a feminist and republican carnival, challenging traditional authorities and advocating for social justice and women's rights.
