The Terrassa City Council announced this Wednesday the relocation of the Women's Information and Care Service, known as Casa Galèria, to the Sala i Badrinas industrial building.

The move aims to overcome space limitations at the current headquarters. Councilor Lluïsa Melgares explained that the new facility will serve as an Equality Office, centralizing feminist and LGTBIQ+ services to improve intersectional support and victim privacy.
The project details will be officially presented on February 23. Simultaneously, the local government is redesigning the Despertador project, an initiative launched in 2016 to fight school absenteeism, which now seeks new funding for the upcoming academic year.
