The Castellbisbal City Council and the Barcelona Provincial Council held a meeting on April 16 to review the status of several crucial road projects for the municipality's safety and mobility.

The meeting served to conduct a detailed follow-up of ongoing initiatives, notably the roundabout project connecting the B-150 with Antoni Gaudí avenue. According to the Provincial Council, the commission to an external company for its execution is nearing completion.
Another important point was the council's concern regarding the lighting of the BV-1501 road section, which connects the urban center with the Renfe station. Local authorities expressed their apprehension about safety in darker areas, where the presence of wild boars has been detected. The Provincial Council indicated that, although it does not generally illuminate roads, it will study this specific situation.
Likewise, the improvement of the entrance and exit to Can Costa via Eucaliptus promenade was discussed, with the Provincial Council's commitment to analyze possible actions to enhance road safety. Collaboration with the Generalitat was also agreed upon to address the black spot at the intersection of the C-243c with the BV-1201, in Costablanca.
Finally, the creation of a pedestrian path parallel to the road to access the Renfe station was proposed. The City Council believes that this measure

"would improve pedestrian mobility and user safety."
