Castellbisbal is preparing for a weekend full of cultural proposals on May 2nd and 3rd, featuring a dance festival, an environmental activity, and a traveling photographic exhibition.

On Saturday, May 2nd, the Virgen de Baños Dance Association will host its inauguration party at the Casal Cultural i Recreatiu. The free event, starting at 11:00 AM, will include a mass, live music, guest artists, and a tribute for Mother's Day. Attendees can enjoy traditional dances from Ecuador, Bolivia, Peru, Paraguay, and Honduras, accompanied by typical Ecuadorian gastronomy.
On Sunday, May 3rd, the Parc de l’Ermita will be the setting for Jugatecambiental, a project combining fun and environmental education. From 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM, a creative workshop will be held to build wind turbines, aiming to raise awareness about energy generation and climate change, fostering a respectful attitude towards the environment.
Throughout the weekend, the Biblioteca Municipal Josep Mateu i Miró will host the traveling photographic exhibition Cuba en la cruïlla. Produced by the SUDS association, this exhibition offers a different perspective on the reality of the Caribbean island and its people, moving away from conventional narratives. The SUDS entity is a non-profit association dedicated to the defense of human rights and the fight against discrimination.
