The Castellbisbal City Council has installed six new video surveillance and traffic control cameras with license plate readers to enhance security and combat uncivil behavior.

Four of the new devices have been placed on the main entry and exit routes of the town, adding to the two cameras already operational since late 2024. With this expansion, all access routes to Castellbisbal are now monitored.
The traffic cameras specifically monitor points such as the B-150 road, in the Sant Rita urbanization, and the C-243c road, which connects Martorell with Terrassa, near the Costablanca roundabout.

"to reinforce municipal security policies and intensify the fight against uncivil behavior related to waste management and the abandonment of bulky items."

The remaining two cameras have been installed in areas with high concentrations of containers, specifically in the Comte de Sert and Can Costa urbanizations, where infractions had been detected. These points are added to those already controlled in Can Santeugini and Costablanca.
