These groups, facilitated by psychology professionals, offer a safe environment where participants can share concerns, exchange knowledge, and provide mutual support. The initiative aims to foster emotional well-being and social cohesion within the municipality.
The first group, in collaboration with the Red Cross, will focus on emotions associated with caring for disabled minors, including caregivers' self-care. Sessions will be held every Thursday, from April 9 to May 7, from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM.
The second group, supported by the Diputació de Barcelona, is aimed at non-professional caregivers of dependent elderly individuals. These meetings will take place on Wednesdays, from April 15 to June 17, from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM. Both groups will be held at the Margarida Xirgu space within the Els Costals Cultural Center.
