Castellbisbal offers a cultural weekend with workshops, music, and exhibitions

The town in Vallès Occidental will host various activities on April 25th and 26th, including a self-repair workshop, a creative lab, and a guitar gathering.

Castellbisbal is preparing for a weekend full of cultural proposals on April 25th and 26th, with activities ranging from practical workshops to musical recitals and art exhibitions.

On Saturday, April 25th, those interested in sustainability can participate in a clothing self-repair workshop at the Punt Verd, from 10:00 to 13:30. Places are limited, and the City Council reserves the right to cancel if a minimum number of participants is not reached.
Concurrently, the Parc de l'Ermita will host the Jugatecambiental initiative, which on this occasion will focus on the world of butterflies, from 11:30 to 13:30. This activity aims to raise awareness about environmental values in a playful way.
The Josep Mateu i Miró Municipal Library will host the creative lab I Want a Dog! at 11:30, a children's reading proposal that invites participants to choose the most suitable storybook dogs for the DOG CLUB.
Saturday's events will culminate with the ACEM Guitar Gathering at the Els Costals auditorium at 17:00. Students from various municipal music schools, including Sant Boi, Castellar del Vallès, Arenys de Mar, Barberà del Vallès, Parets del Vallès, Caldes de Montbui, Castellbisbal, and Santa Perpètua, will offer a recital with a varied repertoire performed by an orchestra of over 70 guitars.
On Sunday, April 26th, the Jugatecambiental about butterflies will be repeated at the Parc de l'Ermita from 11:30 to 13:30. In the afternoon, the City Hall Assembly Room will host the Elderly Dance at 18:00.
Throughout the weekend, several exhibitions will be open to the public. The Museu de la Pagesia will display La Vella Quaresma. The Calendar of the Seven Legs, an exhibition on 20th-century paper figures. The Josep Mateu i Miró Municipal Library will present two exhibitions: Francesc Català-Roca. The First Photographer, celebrating the photographer's birth centenary, and Cuba at the Crossroads, a traveling photographic exhibition by the SUDS association offering an alternative view of Cuban reality.
