The Castellbisbal City Council has finalized the reordering of traffic and parking on Avinguda Taronger, a change driven by residents to enhance mobility.

The Castellbisbal City Council has completed the reordering of traffic and parking on Avinguda Taronger, specifically in the section between Plaça Albereda and Carrer Acàcia de Can Costa. With the new configuration, the street is now one-way, and parking is available on both sides of the road.
According to sources from the City Council, this action "allows for the optimization of road space and facilitates parking." The change was made at the request of the local residents, aiming to "improve mobility" and "organize vehicle parking." The implementation work, which cost 2,370 euros, was carried out on May 11th and primarily involved signage and road adaptation.
Regarding mobility, last April, representatives from the Castellbisbal City Council met with the Barcelona Provincial Council (Diputació de Barcelona) to follow up on various road projects. One of the topics discussed was the potential creation of a pedestrian walkway to access the Renfe train station, which would run parallel to the road. The City Council believes this initiative "would improve pedestrian mobility and user safety."
The project for the roundabout connecting the B-150 with Avinguda d'Antoni Gaudí was also discussed; it has been commissioned to an external company. Additionally, the lighting of the BV-1501 road section, linking the urban center to the Renfe station, was addressed. The City Council expressed concern about safety in darker areas where wild boars are often detected. The Provincial Council argued that, as a general criterion, roads are not illuminated but rather intersections, but assured that they would study this specific situation.
