A chemical incident has occurred in Santa Perpètua de Mogoda following an erroneous mixture involving a drum full of hydrochloric acid. The event has triggered a chemical risk alert in the area.
As a consequence of the incident, about fifty workers from the affected company have been forced to be confined to the upper floor of the facility. Additionally, workshops near the spill site have had to be temporarily closed.
