The swift action of the Terrassa Municipal Police, alerted by a resident via the 112 emergency number, led to the arrest of three individuals suspected of vehicle theft. The citizen observed a group of people acting suspiciously near two motorcycles, suggesting they might be tampering with one.
Upon arrival, officers encountered the three individuals. During identification and a subsequent search, a non-homologated pepper spray was discovered in the possession of one of the suspects. This type of item is illegal and can incur significant fines.
Checking the motorcycles' registration data revealed that one of them was reported stolen. These findings prompted the arrest of the three individuals, who were taken to the police station to face charges for alleged vehicle theft and unauthorized use, as well as property damage.
“"Official sources report that when the patrols arrived at the location, they found a total of three people next to the two vehicles."
Additionally, a preventive operation was conducted on Thursday, June 28th, by the Municipal Police and the National Police Corps at a commercial establishment in Ca n’Aurell. The intervention was prompted by repeated complaints from residents regarding disturbances caused by the venue. During the operation, approximately fifteen people were identified, three fines were issued for carrying a bladed weapon, and an administrative report was filed for various deficiencies.
