Club de Rugby Sant Cugat Women's team secures spot in top flight

The team coached by Panchi Castroviejo confirms its sixth consecutive season in the Iberdrola League.

The Club de Rugby Sant Cugat women's first team has secured its place in the Iberdrola League, the highest national category, after finishing the season in sixth position.

Under the guidance of coach Panchi Castroviejo, the local squad guaranteed their stay in the elite for the sixth year running. Their next challenge will be the Queen's Cup (Copa de la Reina), starting on March 28th and 29th.
The opening round will see them face Unió Esportiva Santboiana. A victory would propel the team into the Copa de Oro quarter-finals, while a loss would lead them to compete for the Copa de Plata.
