Club Gimnàstic Terrassa started the 2026 season with an impressive second-place finish in the first phase of the Iberdrola League held this weekend in Palma de Mallorca.

The team from Terrassa, currently in its third season in the national Second Division, finished only behind Club Gimnàstic Les Moreres from Esplugues. This result marks a significant step in the rebuilding process for the club.
Individual highlights included a silver medal for Victoria Valeros and a bronze for Claudia Boada. The squad also featured strong performances from Laura Garcia, who finished fifth, Cora Noguer, Noa Granados, and young talent Sofia Boada.

"This is a goal that seems possible this year, after two seasons where the objective was simply to ensure we stayed in the division."

The promotion race will continue in May during the second phase of the competition. A podium finish there would secure a spot in the grand final in June, where the team hopes to return to the First Division.
