Centre d'Esports Sabadell has celebrated its return to the second division after overcoming Zamora in the play-offs, although the institutional event at the town hall was marked by controversy.

During the official reception at the Casa de la Vila, a member of the squad took the microphone to address the fans present. At that moment, he urged the attendees to chant insults directed at the Spanish Prime Minister, Pedro Sánchez.
The reaction among the public was mixed, as while some fans followed the lead, others chose not to participate in the chant. The event, which was attended by Mayor Marta Farrés, continued normally afterwards.
The club's promotion came after a comeback at the Nova Creu Alta, where the team won 4-0, reversing the first-leg deficit. This victory marks the club's return to professional football five years after their last stint in the division.
