The Mossos d'Esquadra police force has arrested a 28-year-old man and a 29-year-old woman in Rubí for allegedly stealing 71 mobile phones in nightlife areas throughout Catalonia.

The investigation began after GPS signals from stolen phones led officers to an apartment on Catalunya Avenue in Rubí. The couple reportedly operated in several cities, including Mataró, Salt, Lleida, and Tarragona, accumulating a total of 23 prior police records.
During a search of their home, police found false documentation, cash, and a notebook containing schedules for upcoming local festivals and market prices for various smartphone models.
