The public broadcaster Cugat Mèdia has unveiled its latest documentary project, Lletra B, in Sant Cugat del Vallès, with the 13-episode series set to premiere on April 12th.

Produced in collaboration with Xarxa de Comunicació Local, the series explores how public libraries foster community in the era of social media. Across 17 locations, the project features 250 interviews with staff and users, showcasing these spaces as vital cultural centers for the future.

"We value libraries as spaces for coexistence; it is an opportunity to build societies through the word."

Cristina Mur · Director of Cugat Mèdia
During the premiere at La Unió, Mayor Josep Maria Vallès emphasized the city's commitment to the upcoming Central Library project. The series covers diverse realities, including the Nord Library in Sabadell, the award-winning García Márquez in Barcelona, and mobile library services.
Directed by Joan Miquel Fernández, Lletra B will air on Sundays at 10 PM on local television stations and will be available on the La Xarxa+ platform. This release marks 15 years of documentary filmmaking for the Sant Cugat media outlet.
