The Palauet Casades in Barcelona hosted the Banc Sabadell Company of the Year Awards this Monday, celebrating the excellence and resilience of the Catalan private sector throughout 2025.

Brewery Damm took home the top honor as Company of the Year 2025. The jury, led by Minister Miquel Sàmper, highlighted the firm's legacy as it approaches its 150th anniversary in 2026.
Núria Cabutí, CEO of Penguin Random House, was named Businesswoman of the Year for her leadership in the global publishing market. Other winners included Tous for international growth and Ocean Ecostructures for sustainability.
The awards reflect a strong year for Catalonia, where GDP grew by 2.7% and exports reached a historic record of over 100 billion euros.
