The Dansa Metropolitana festival showcased its strength in Terrassa this Saturday, moving outdoor performances to the Alegria Theatre due to rain and filling LaFACT with international talent.

The scheduled program at Raval de Montserrat had to be relocated due to weather conditions. The show Pies de Gallina, by creators Ana F. Melero and Luna Sánchez, opened the day exploring fragility and mutual support. Later, Agnès Sales and Héctor Plaza presented A Medio Camino, a fusion of flamenco and contemporary urban dance.
Meanwhile, the Ballet Junior de Gèneve took center stage at LaFACT Cultural. The Swiss company, featuring forty young dancers from across Europe, performed a triple bill including Touch Base, Zak, and Grand Finale, the latter choreographed by Hofesh Shechter.
These performances are part of the Dansa Metropolitana festival, which runs until March 22nd. The event coordinates artistic proposals across twelve municipalities in the Barcelona metropolitan area to bring dance closer to the public.
