The young runner David Sadovici, representing Club d'Atletisme de la Pobla de Segur (CAPS), won the gold medal in the Sub12 2,000m event in Sabadell.

During the competition held in the Vallès Occidental region, the athlete from Tremp achieved a new personal best of 6:49.09. He finished ahead of Imram El Asri from CA Figueres and Leo Leiva from CE I Run With Leiva in a very close race.
Despite dominating most of the race, Sadovici faced a late challenge when El Asri attacked with 200 meters to go. However, a final sprint in the last 70 meters allowed the Pallars athlete to regain the lead and secure the victory.
This new title comes only three weeks after Sadovici was crowned Catalan trail champion in les Franqueses del Vallès, highlighting his versatility and success across different athletic disciplines.
