Users of the Ca n’Aurell Civic and Community Center have expressed concern over the inability to register for second-quarter activities. This situation arises because the facility has been without a director since December 2025, when the previous manager was transferred and the Generalitat has yet to appoint a replacement.
The foresight of the former director allowed first-quarter 2026 registrations to proceed normally, thanks to the management of the caretakers. However, this solution has not been possible for the second quarter, which begins after Easter.
“"Since participation in Generalitat activities is quarterly and the center's management organizes them, many people returning from Easter will not have a workshop."
Rafael Casals, one of the affected users, highlighted that a total of 31 workshops have been unable to formalize their registrations. While classes at other civic centers in Terrassa are set to begin on April 13, a large portion of activities at Ca n’Aurell remain stalled. Users hope that publicizing this issue will expedite a solution from the Generalitat.
