Work crews started the demolition of the iconic Chic nightclub in Sant Cugat del Vallès this February, marking the beginning of a project to build a new three-star hotel.

Located at the intersection of Rius i Taulet Avenue and Vic Street, the building's facade has already been removed. The company IDES is currently managing the specialized removal of asbestos from the structure to ensure safety before the final demolition.
The new hotel will offer 91 parking spaces. This development follows an agreement with the local council, which granted the nightclub owners a 40-year lease on land near the Rubí road in exchange for an annual fee of 204,000 euros.
