Drug dealer arrested in Terrassa after traffic violation on electric scooter

Terrassa Municipal Police intercepted an individual with 133 drug packages following a pursuit.

An electric scooter rider was arrested in Terrassa this Tuesday, June 2nd, for drug trafficking following a traffic violation and a brief police pursuit.

A patrol from the Terrassa Municipal Police detected a personal mobility device (VMP) rider circulating incorrectly on the sidewalk in District 1. The individual, upon noticing the officers, attempted to flee on his electric scooter.
After a short pursuit, officers managed to stop him. When asked for identification, it was discovered that the man had seven previous police records. A subsequent search revealed he was carrying 133 packages containing narcotic substances.
The arrested individual was taken to the police station on Avinguda de les Glòries Catalanes, where proceedings were initiated against him for alleged crimes against public health.
In parallel, the Terrassa Municipal Police has launched a campaign to control school and child transport, which will run until Sunday, June 7th, coinciding with the period of school camps and excursions.
