The session included participation from the General Directorate and the Catalan Youth Agency, alongside political representatives and technical staff from the region's town councils and the Regional Council's Youth Service.
The technical team from the Territorial Coordination of Barcelona of the Generalitat de Catalunya presented the new model for delegating competencies and funding to local entities for the implementation of youth policies, based on criteria of stability, simplicity, and territorial equity.
In turn, the Youth Service of the Council's Social Rights Area presented the draft 2026-2029 Regional Youth Plan. This proposal, developed in collaboration with the region's municipalities, outlines the key findings from the youth reality diagnosis, as well as strategic axes, objectives, and planned actions. The plan is expected to be submitted for approval at the next plenary session of the Vallès Occidental Regional Council.
The event served as a forum for information exchange and coordination between the different administrations to further the development of youth policies in Vallès Occidental.
