Terrassa FC concluded the 2025/2026 season in eighth position, failing to achieve promotion, but with its sights already set on the next campaign under its coach's leadership.

Following the defeat against Reus Reddis in the final league match, Terrassa FC is reviewing a season that left them on the verge of the fight for promotion to the Primera Federación. The team finished in eighth position with 46 points, nine points from the play-offs and six from direct relegation, indicating a position closer to the bottom of the table. The final record includes 11 wins, 13 draws, and 10 losses, with 36 goals scored and 44 conceded.
The final stretch of the league was particularly challenging for the Egarenc squad. Despite having play-off chances, the team went six consecutive matches without a win, with four losses and two draws. The season culminated in three consecutive defeats against direct rivals such as Poblense, Atlético Baleares, and Reus FC Reddis.

"With two matchdays remaining, we were competing for a play-off spot at Atlético Baleares' ground, but with that defeat, we exhausted our options."

Despite the disappointment, the coach remains optimistic and emphasizes the need for improvement. The season was marked by a change on the bench, with the current coach arriving on October 29, following the dismissal of the previous one. His arrival revitalized the team, which moved from the lower zone to contend for promotion spots for much of the second half of the season.
Since his arrival, the coach has accumulated 9 wins, 10 draws, and 7 losses, securing 37 points out of a possible 78. These numbers, although not enough for the play-offs, justified his renewal in January for two more seasons, until the 2027-2028 campaign. Confidence in his figure is based on his experience in the category and his ability to lead an ambitious project.

"To be more competitive, improve in second plays, improve tactically, and in many other things."

One area for improvement is performance at the Estadi Olímpic. Terrassa FC was the twelfth best home team in the group this season, with seven wins, five draws, and five losses. Although an improvement over previous seasons, it remains an unresolved issue for an aspiring team. Play-off teams, such as Sant Andreu or Atlético Baleares, showed much greater strength at home.
With an eye already on the next season, the coach will have the opportunity to start the project from the first day of pre-season, unlike last year. He remains cautious about squad formation and fully trusts the work of the sporting director, Antonis Antoniou. The coach expresses his enthusiasm and gratitude for the treatment received from the club and the fans.
