The party criticizes the local government for failing to fulfill a two-year-old agreement to revitalize industrial zones.

The En Comú Podem municipal group has urged the Sabadell Government to immediately present the Master Plan for Economic Activity Estates (PAE), a commitment agreed upon in March 2024.

The left-wing party expressed regret that, two years after the motion was passed in the City Council, the administration led by Marta Farrés has yet to deliver. The plan was intended to define the city's industrial strategy for the next eight years.

"If we neglect the needs of the industrial estates and continue to promote commercial land over industrial land, Sabadell will become a service monoculture city."

These demands follow complaints from the Association of Companies and Owners (AEPCRO) of Can Roqueta regarding the poor state of the area, citing abandoned trailers and waste in several plots.
Spokesperson Joan Mena emphasized the need for a clear commitment to economic diversification in Sabadell, specifically calling for improved maintenance and investment in the Can Roqueta and South-West industrial sectors.
