Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya (FGC) has confirmed that Terrassa will have a direct rail connection with Lleida, featuring five daily services in each direction once the regional lines transfer is completed.

The president of the public company, Carles Ruiz Novella, detailed the future plans for the Catalan railway network during a mobility conference in Vallès Occidental. The project includes fourteen daily trips between Lleida and Cervera, five of which will extend their route to reach Terrassa.

"A lot is being invested in the railway system."
