A demonstration gathered approximately 400 people in Sabadell this May Day, with the participation of alternative unions advocating for labor and social improvements.

The mobilization, organized by unions such as CGT, CNT, and COS, began in Plaça d'Espanya around 11:30 AM and concluded shortly before 1:00 PM in Plaça de les Dones del Tèxtil, in the city center.
The protest, regional in nature, traversed several main avenues, including Avinguda de Josep Tarradellas and Avinguda de Francesc Macià. Along the route, demonstrators paused in front of the Chamber of Commerce to affix protest stickers to its headquarters before continuing to their final destination.

Neither rock-bottom wages, nor sky-high housing.

The organizers displayed banners with slogans denouncing the impoverishment of the working classes and demanding fairer wages, as well as solutions to the housing crisis. Criticisms were also voiced regarding the presence of Mossos d'Esquadra officers in educational centers, and a call was made for the recovery of purchasing power for teachers.
In addition to labor and social demands, the demonstrators called for peace and against wars, emphasizing that the May Day mobilization is not out of nostalgia, but due to the persistence of labor exploitation and the need to negotiate dignity in a complex economic context.
