Teachers in Terrassa joined a widespread strike this Wednesday, resulting in schools operating under minimum services and a significant absence of students across the city.

The strike's impact was particularly felt at Investigador Blanxart and Torre del Palau high schools, where student attendance was minimal. Faculty participation exceeded 50% in several institutions, marking one of the most supported protests in recent years.

"We need more people and lower ratios; we cannot properly meet the needs of all children."

Groups of educators marched through Terrassa to the FGC train station to join the main demonstration in Barcelona. Key demands include more investment in public education and the restoration of social integration staff in complex school environments.
