The activity, organized by the Museum of Labor and Living Industry (MTIV), proposes a tour through the history and transformation of the La Florida neighborhood on the occasion of its centenary. Registration can be done through the municipal website.
The visit will allow attendees to learn about the evolution of La Florida, from its origins as an agricultural space to the garden city project and its subsequent consolidation as a working-class neighborhood. The tour will cover both the urban changes the area has undergone and the role of the residents and their struggles to improve the neighborhood.
The European Heritage Days will also include the inauguration, on October 9 at 7 PM, of the exhibition 'La Florida, history of a neighborhood. One hundred years of urban and social transformation', at the Museum of Labor and Living Industry.
