The 28-year-old resident died on August 21, 2022, while in custody at the Mossos d'Esquadra station. His family claims they have not received clear explanations from authorities, noting that the Local Police officers involved in his initial arrest have not yet testified in the ongoing judicial investigation.

The motion proposes six measures, including a municipal investigation commission and mandatory anti-racism training for officers. It also calls for an independent oversight mechanism for police complaints, following recommendations from human rights organizations like Irídia.
